I was recommended this product by my dentist as this was my third set of retainers due to them breaking due to improper cleaning. They recommended the Zima pod and it was actually cheaper on Amazon than their office. However no where online could I find a size so I ordered the smaller one which is the only one Amazon sells in hopes it worked. I was surprised it got all that gunk out of my Invisalign retainer with ONE run on normal mode. It is quite loud. Louder than my dehumidifier and it sent my cat flying to the other room. It’s loud enough I hear it on the other side of my home. Luckily it’s only 10 mins with both retainers. I will be returning it simply because it doesn’t hold both retainers and I have already ordered the larger one. Some things I think need improved: a locking mechanism on the lid (my cat would love to knock this over) and a different unscented or scented flavor of the tablets- I cannot stand the smell of mint. Overall though, I recommend the product. I did repurchase it in a larger size after one use. It really is life changing. My retainers cost $427 so it’s an important investment to keep them clean!
Amazing, gets rid of the stinky smell without even needing the cleaning tablets. I still use them from time to time to feel fresh though. Saw that brushing was bad for retainers, so I got this and I’ll never go back it’s that good

I am in love with this wonderful little machine! I have been so concerned over the years that my post Invisalign aligners were simply not as clean as they could've been, despite my diligent brushing with a dedicated toothbrush. Using my pod every morning leaves my aligners sparklingly clean and I feel that is much healthier for me. I also oddly love the little ritual Of putting in the water, letting the tablet, dissolve, pushing the button, and hearing the pods sweet little sound as it does. It's magical work to make my aligners pop out crystal clear and clean. Very highly recommended! My dentist actually told me about it and I so wish I would've discovered it sooner, but I'm very glad I have it now.
This compact cleaner is both cute and functional. My 10 year old mouth guard visibly and palpably is cleaner, and now I don't have to wait every 4 months to get it cleaned at my dentist's anymore!

"I initially bought the standard model, but the tank was simply too small for Oral-B iO brush heads. Upgraded to the new Dental Pod Pro design and it fits them without any issues at all! I use it once a week to keep the heads spotless and prevent mold forming inside the cavity. Excellent upgrade!"

I love this Dental pod it is a game changer... I'm very happy with my purchase and I definitely recommend this. The only downside which I wish it had that it doesn't, is that I wish the dental pod pro also had a UV light Incorporated within the unit, so when you're cleaning it with the ultrasonic pod it would also have UV lights Incorporated on the lid. Other than that I think it's great in quality. But for this price it should have a UV light in the unit as well since it's so expensive. The unit is $140 and then about $70 for the travel case... It was very expensive so it would be nice if it also had a UV in the unit.
Wife love its, color is nice. Size is perfect for home and small enough to travel with. You can tell the difference with one cleaning compared to other cleaners and cleaning methods. Tablet work very well also

This has made such a difference to cleaning my aligners. Having to take out my invisalign three times a day meant forever spent trying to keep the aligners clean. I would brush them and they would end up filthy, I used sterilising fluid and the same thing happened. But using the dental pod has cut the cleaning time in half and I don't have to brush them at all.
I was a bit disappointed when I got the product when it said it needed the cleaning tablets too, but I do find that with just water it cleans incredibly well anyway. I do use the cleaning tablets about halfway through my ten day wear to keep them fresh and when I get my permanent retainers I will clean them with the tablets but I've found it doesn't necessarily need them for short term use.
The difference between aligners with ten days of brushing and with ten days of using the dental pod speaks for itself. Hopefully it lasts. Would 100% recommend, it's made my invisalign routine so much less stressful.
For years I have been struggling with my retainer being dirty and putting it back in my mouth at night. Now I clean it first thing after I remove it in the morning and am assured I have a fresh and clean retainer to use at night thank you !
Love my zima original! I’ve had it for 2 years now and makes wearing my Invisaligns much easier . They feel brand new every time I clean them! I even travel with it wherever I go but now I have my eye on the new travel one which looks amazing! It’s a must for all oral appliance users! Game changer!! Love it so so much. I’ve used it once so far. It cleaned my Invisalign bottom retainer nicely, but my top night guard still needs more cycles to get the yellow stains out. Hopefully I’ll see an improvement after using it with the cleaning pods 2x a day for 2 weeks like it says for heavily stained pieces.
I was really pleased with the dental pod, tablets and wipes. I keep it in my bathroom by my toothbrush and water flosser for daily use and it really gets my disgusting retainers clean with brushing.
The case itself is well designed and lightweight, and its going to be useful!
However, I was a bit surprised to see that the box is only "sealed" by a tiny piece of tape, that had come off (see picture, that's how it was - I had not yet pulled on it). Given that, after opening the box, the zima case is not sealed wrapped in plastic (which is fine, save the planet), this made me a bit uneasy about the case - in which I'm going to be putting stuff that goes in my mouth - having been opened.
I cleaned it off with alcohol, but I thought I'd leave the feedback. I'm not asking for the box to come sealed in stupid amounts of plastic, but maybe use a better "tape" that makes it obvious that the box has not been tampered with and that does not come off so easily. Apple's Macbook boxes have a little tape that you have to tear off, for instance.

I recently got my braces taken off and received my retainers, and I was honestly kind of stressed about keeping them clean without scratching or damaging them. I did some research and came across this product, so I decided to give it a try.
When my pod came in, I had just rinsed my retainers and scrubbed them with my finger since it was my first day wearing them. I placed them in the pod not really expecting much because I thought they were already clean. I was shocked when I took them out and saw how much stuff came off of them! 😬 I didn’t even realize they weren’t as clean as I thought they were. This is definitely going to be part of my regular retainer cleaning
