The product works really well. I thought that using the tablets that I had been using for years were enough. Even without a tablet, placing the item inside the cleaner which is tapwater and running the vibration sequence seems to do a better job than using a tablet and just putting it in water as I have in the past. But the real game changer is when you use a tablet with this device and the vibration feature your retainer comes out looking crystal clear every time and you can tell. That is a much Cleaner way to clean your retainer. I would highly recommend this product.
My husband got me a Zima pod for Christmas and I have been loving it! It’s been so extremely easy to use, and for someone with ADHD is easier to remember than to do tablets in a cup because I see it on the counter and remember 🤣 I was getting self conscious because the tablets weren’t getting my retainers super clean and build up was starting, but I had no idea how to get it off! The Zima took off all the buildup in two doubled-up sessions (so running it with a dissolved Zima tablet 2 times 2 days in a row!) now they look brand new- I wish I had a picture of them before! I have had a retainer for 1.5 years and have been cleaning it with toothbrush regularly. But my dental appliance developed white spots in crevices that I was unable to get rid of. My Hawley retainer was getting really gross and had this white buildup. I had Invisalign for a week when I decided I needed a better way to clean and place my trays while eating. This is a great way to clean the trays (and remember where I put them!) while I eat. You can see in the water and on the trays how much debris is coming off each time. I am so glad to have this for the remainder of my program and for my future retainer!

I have a clear plastic retainer and a hawley retainer. I only wear the hawley one now but I put both of them in the zima ultrasonic and they came out looking great. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve invested a lot of money in my oral health and hygiene so extending that to the care of my retainers was a no brained once I learned about Zima! My mum bought this for me to clean my retainers, and I wasn’t expecting it to remove years of stubborn staining. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazingly well it worked - my retainers came out looking so brand new! After seeing the results, my mum bought one for herself and has been just as impressed. It’s a great purchase that saves me from having to scrub my retainers every morning. It’s quick and easy to use and the cleaning tablets are especially effective - would recommend!
I really like how much this pod cleans my retainer. My only complaint is that you do have to continue buying the boosting tablets/cleaning tablets and they are expensive! They only supply you with maybe 10 of them in the box initially and they recommend using them daily. So just something to think about!
After a few years of using tablets in water to soak my retainers they became cloudy and very difficult to clean even with a small brush. After a lot of research I decided to buy a Zima Debtal Pod and noticed a real difference after the first use - my retainers are clean and clear back to how they were originally.
